PokerTek announced that six new clients from around the world have signed contracts for the installation of PokerPro tables. In the US, the company will be installing in Michigan and Arkansas, while in the rest of the world Aristocrat Leisure will install the tables in Australia, London and Italy. “The casino operators around the world are acknowledging that automatic poker satisfies better the client and improves the poker-room’s economy, said Lou White, CEO of PokerTek.

The Greektown Casino in Detroit will be the fist place in Michigan to offer automatic poker. Southland Greyhound Park in West Memphis, Arkansas, is installing PokerPro tables for their new casino. Outside US, Aristocrat has developed relations with several important casinos. Crown Casino in Australia has already agreed to the installation of these tables in their poker room.

In England, Casino Aspers Newcastle in The Gate, plans to install several tables within the electronic games area. Besides, the casino and bar Ladbrokes Sports Bar & Casino in the Paddington London Hilton, will also have PokerPro tables. Both will be opening the London market.

Meanwhile, Casino Di Venezia in Italy, the oldest casino in the world, is also planning on installing PokerPro tables. “We are exited about adding those casinos in several geographic areas to extend the clients’ base”, Lou White said. “Our clients are benefiting with our regulatory approvals from the GLI as well as the State of Michigan, and we are happy that they are successful with the automatic poker”.
